SUPERBULL
Number 1 on our list is the student institution known as ‘Superbull’, hosted every Friday night at Moka Lincoln. Student Fridays have since become an institution over 1,000 students every week enjoying £4 entry and £2 Double Vodka Redbulls.
BOWLING
Stuck for something to do? Why not head to Lincoln Bowl, it’s a short drive from the city centre so you’ll need a mate who drives. Games start at £4.50 per person and discounts are available for students. There’s also a bar, so everyone but the designated driver can get a little merry as they show their competitive side.
PLAYZONE
Playzone Lincoln is the perfect place to let your hair down and unwind. Forget all the stress of 9am lectures and 3,000 word essays. Play zone is a children’s soft play area complete with ball pit, slides and climbing ropes. Wednesday nights at 7pm they open their doors to students, playing music over the tannoy and selling Slush Puppies for £1. Entry is £5 and makes the perfect pre pre drinks activity
GRIDLINE RACING
Hidden behind Sincil Bank, gridline racing is an indoor go karting track. Its a little pricy but is always excellent fun. Racing packages start at £25 and last around 30mins.
DAISY MADE
Just off the A46 (Yes, you will need that one friend who drives!) Daisy Made sells milk, ice-cream and cream made in the Daisy Made farm, as well as having a fun mini golf course (photo above). Perfect for those lazy Sundays!
USHER GALLERY
Felling a little cultural? Behind Danesgate Lincoln has its own art gallery? Who knew aye! Make sure you check the website first as not all exhibitions are free, however you do get a pretty decent student discount if you book online 🙂
LINCOLN CATHEDRAL
If you haven’t already trekked up hill with your parents on open day to visit the cathedral, its an ideal thing to do at the weekend! Students enter for free so make sure you bring your student card! Whilst your up hill try out one of Lincoln’s famous tea rooms, or venture round the Bail.
BRAYFORD BELLE
The bradford belle, occasionally home to ‘boat party’ (both Entourage and Lovedough have done them now), but besides from a fairly lacklustre ibiza spin off the Brayford Belle does have a few nice trails, with tickets from £5 for a 2 hour ride, it might be just the thing you need to get rid of that Saturday morning post Superbull hangover!
ARBORETUM – BBQ
Just off of monks road, Lincoln actually has a very nice park, the perfect place for a summer BBQ or the perfect place to go to just sit, drink and listen to music, in the summer the park is filled with students and is a great place to explore, make sure you get a decent Instagram of the Lion statue!
LINCOLN IMPS
Lincoln has a football team (who knew?) and they’re actually pretty good! Located at the back of popular student area known as ‘Sincil Bank’ the CO-OP stadium (which is actually fairly impressive), you can catch an IMPS game most sundays, tickets are a little pricey at £11 for standard seating, however they do offer Sincil Bank residents a small discount, and a further discount if you remember to bring your student card!

LINCOLN MARKETS
The Craft Market is held every first and third Saturday of the month from March to December on Lincoln’s Cornhill. A wide range of hand-made products are for sale including cakes and preserves, ceramics and pottery, collectors’ soft toys, gemstones, glass art, jewellery, metalwork, mosaics, paper craft, photography, soap and candles, textiles and wood.
