What do your houses include?
All our properties include furniture, this will include a place to study, sleep, store clothing. In the kitchens all our properties are supplied with a Microwave & we include hoovers for communal areas.
We don’t include a kettle, toaster, mop or bucket
Do you allow non-students?
Sure! If your’e a recent graduate or a group of young professionals, you’re eligible to rent our properties. Council tax isn’t charged to students, but non students are required to pay council tax during their tenancy
Do we need to weed the garden?
Yup! You’re required to ensure the garden is provided in the same condition we gave it to you in, we have gardening tools in the office you’re able to borrow throughout your tenancy. You’re not required to cut grass or prune trees / bushes.
How do I return my keys?
You need to hand your keys to us in person at our office
Do we need to clean?
Yes, you must return the property in the same condition it was provided to you.
What do we do in an emergency?
If we’re open or closed, call us on 01522 410 646, we have an out of hours call centre open 24/7 to help support you and resolve urgent issues night and day!
How do we report maintenance?
If you spot something not working as it should, please let us know as soon as possible, report it online at www.Student-Housing.co.uk/fix
What should we bring with us?
When you collect your keys you’ll need to bring your passport to prove you have the right to rent in the UK. We can accept other forms of documents (eg your Drivers Licence with a copy of your birth certificate)
Are bills included?
Yes All our advertised rents include gas, water and electricity usage during your stay, the Internet and TV licences are provided free of charge.
Where should we live?
It’s up to you! We offer houses and apartments all over the City, all accommodation is suitable for students, so the choice really is yours!
