Landlord Today: Student Housing claims an industry first as it switches to renewable energy

Student Housing says that it has become the first business of its kind in the UK to only use renewable energy at all its properties.

The specialist lettings and property management firm, which provides homes to undergraduates in Lincoln and Nottingham, has moved all of its managed properties to So. Energy’s NET-ZERO plan.

All of Student Housing’s 1,300 tenants will now benefit from significantly lower priced renewable energy. In a few weeks, Student Housing will give student renters an opportunity to vote for the source of their renewable energy – solar, wind, hydro, biomass or tidal. Read More
