(We also came five places above Oxford!)
The University of Lincoln has been ranked in above both Oxford and Cambridge in this year’s whatuni.com‘s “Best University” student league table.
The University of Lincoln ranked 45th with a total score of 4.21 out of 5. The outstanding results referenced the University of Lincoln’s state-of-the-art facilities and the stunning, award-winning Brayford campus.
It was noted that pints at tower bar and the swan on average cost only £2.90 on average (compared to the £6-£8 pints served in London), and Lincoln’s average living costs are £7,200. On top of that, 93% of University of Lincoln graduates go on to full-time work or employment – plus, we have Lovedough.
Unfortunately, Lincoln actually dropped 12 places since 2015, from 33rd – but we won’t dwell on that.
So next time you meet someone from Oxbridge, you can hold your head high in the knowledge that people at Lincoln have topped the supposed best unis in the world.
