It’s no surprise that 200 Degrees is a top choice for both University of Nottingham and NTU students. The layout is ideal for solo study sessions or quiet group catchups, and their Study Blend coffee is the kind of fuel you’ll want on tap during deadline season. Bonus: it’s a short tram ride or 15-minute walk from our Student Housing homes in Lenton.

Cartwheel is a real hidden gem. Their brunch is elite, the coffee is roasted in-house, and there’s a warm, relaxed vibe that makes studying feel… almost enjoyable? Small but mighty, this place is a favourite for NTU students based in the City. Most cafés get busy mid-morning, so aim for an early start if you need a table near a plug socket.
